Auditions for Fall 2026

AMI Dance is THRILLED to be preparing for our next audition! All local intermediate level dancers 16+ are invited to come on Sunday July 26th to audition for our Fall Performance taking place on October 11th.

The auditions are held at Music In Motion, 629 N. Lynnhaven Road in Va. Beach. The audition will run from 1-4pm.

The Studio Company Fall session will take place from August 1st through October 11th. Rehearsals take place on Saturdays and Sundays (your specific day is based on your casting).

Whether you have danced with us before or are new to our program, we hope to see you in July for a spooky start to our next opportunity! We will be auditioning for pieces in the styles of ballet, modern, contemporary and jazz. If you are not available for the in person auditions but still wish to be considered - we do accept video auditions! We request that all video auditions are emailed to us no later than Saturday July 25th by 5pm. In submitting a video, we are excited to view a dance reel or a quick improv or class video!
We require in your video auditions email the following items:
- Name and Phone Number
- Which style you would like to be considered for (ballet, modern, contemporary or jazz)
- How many pieces you are comfortable / available to be cast in
- Schedule availability for Saturdays and Sundays 1:30pm - 5pm (August 1st through October 11th -classes and rehearsals time block)
- Your video (up to 90 seconds)
- Your dance resume (if you have one)
